As it seems we all have a new appreciation for the outdoors, the idea of spending an afternoon or evening with some good food and drink in a garden has never sounded more appealing.
Come and enjoy your favourite beverage in our large, extended garden with bubble barns and wigwam all year round.
Our stylish Bubble Barns are designed to keep you warm and dry with our log burners and heaters, and are fully sheltered … putting a spin on dining alfresco! Our Bubble Barns are beautifully decorated and create a private space which is exclusively yours. Each Bubble Barn seats up to 6 people and is for diners only; they are home to toe-tapping tunes and a great atmosphere, and if required, you have the option to nip in and out of the vast gardens.
Our wigwam is fully sheltered, with a fire pit and heater … so there is no need to worry about being chilly! The wigwam contains three tables of 6. Our wigwam can be hired out for larger events, and is perfect for smaller tables who are looking for somewhere with a relaxed atmosphere.
P.S … Dogs are welcome in both the Bubble Barns and Wigwam.
We have hosted many special events here at The Pops, such as weddings in the wigwam, live bands in the gardens, wakes, anniversaries, BBQs, and much more… All areas, both indoor and outdoor, can be tailored to suit your event. Whatever the occasion, we are here for you.

We have kept many of the building’s original features, while modernising and creating new spaces. Our 14 stylish rooms are all en-suite and come with a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee-making facilities, speedy Wi-Fi, and free parking. We can also provide hairdryers, irons and ironing boards upon request. Our hotel suits all, whether you’re a couple, a family, a group of friends or travelling for business.
You will find us in a pleasant corner of Cheshire’s idyllic countryside. We are surrounded by renowned walking routes (such as The Sandstone Trail) and many tourist attractions, such as Peckforton Castle or The Tattenhall Ice Cream Farm. Fear not, you are still close to the excitement of Chester’s city centre, which is just a six-minute car or bus journey away. We are also a quick trip away from Cheshire Oaks, the famous Chester Zoo and have easy access to motorway links leading to Manchester and Liverpool. The beautiful beaches of North Wales are just a short drive away.
